When a furkid is considered “Hospice” it means that, unfortunately, nothing more extensive can be done for them medically, such as major surgeries, or some treatment depending on each individual case, and because of their health, they have a shorter time left to live. Sometimes, depending on the situation, even the best medical care can’t reverse a grave diagnosis, or just their natural aging process. They are still treated with any necessary medications/etc. to help their ailments and to keep them comfortable until it’s decided that their quality of life has diminished, or they let us know that they are ready to go to the Rainbow Bridge. Here at FFR, they always have the best Veterinary care, and a wonderfully loving home environment from the day they arrive.
