Furever Furkidz Rescue became a 501(C)(3) non-profit dog rescue in 2013.
Hi, my name’s Kim and if you can’t tell, I absolutely love dogs! I founded this rescue on my own out of my sincere concern for dogs in need. Abused, abandoned, neglected, or with health issues are but a few reasons why I wanted to try to help make a difference.
My focus is primarily on the senior dogs, so I run a Senior Care Program. All too often, it is the seniors that get over-looked in shelters, or are high on euthanasia lists, as well as previous reasons listed. These are not acceptable reasons to me. They deserve a loving home environment, great medical care, and access to healthy foods and water. They should be respected, and treated with dignity and love, so they may live out their “golden years” to the fullest.
Furever Furkidz Rescue is basically a Sanctuary/Hospice Home for seniors. We are a very small, all-volunteer organization. We are striving to help make a big difference for these precious seniors. We also try to help educate the public of the importance of saving a life through rescuing instead of purchasing a dog. This is my ministry, my passion, as well as my life purpose.
